Clinical Administrative Assistant (CAA)
DESCRIPTION
Northwest Community Health Center is looking for a full time Clinical Administrative Assistant (CAA) as part of the clinical primary care team. The CAA supports a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers in delivering high quality health care. This position is responsible to effectively manage verbal and written patient communication, perform outreach through patient follow up and reminder calls, schedule appointments, obtaining and organizing patient information, input patient medical or demographic information into an electronic health record and perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Full-Time Administrative Assistant
DESCRIPTION
Northwest Community Health Center is looking for a full time Administrative Assistant to join its healthcare team. The selected candidate will be an integral part of the operation supporting the Executive Director; handling day-to-day business activities, including cash and banking duties in compliance with internal control structure; coordinating facility housekeeping and maintenance services; management of marketing activities; maintenance of provider insurance credentialing documents; office supply purchasing; and organization of corporate documents. The administrative assistant must work independently and establish priorities, organizing workload to complement the needs and deadlines of the organization, and create a friendly, cooperative impression on visitors/customers, staff and others.
The ability to exercise initiative, sound judgement, strict confidentiality and cooperation is essential. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, basic administrative computer skills, excellent communication skills, and a positive and outgoing personality. Full-Time Clinical Programs Manager
DESCRIPTION
Northwest Community Health Center (NWCHC) is seeking a full-time Clinical Programs Manager. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Clinic Programs Manager provides leadership, supervision and expertise for overall health center quality and departments operational effectiveness. The Clinic Programs Manager coordinates with other leadership members to ensure the NWCHC provides high quality healthcare service leading quality improvement activities while ensuring patient safety.
The Clinical Programs Manager also functions as the organization’s Privacy Officer, ensuring compliance and integrity of the electronic health record through the development of workflows for proper data collection and functionality.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
- Hire and supervise clinical team lead, medical records and case management staff
- Oversee the development and implementation of staff orientation and training schedules.
- Ensure completion of annual patient satisfaction
- Prepare monthly quality reports/dashboards
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Participate in the achievement of performance management goals
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Shares expertise in other areas in support of organizational objectives
- Limited direct patient care, health education, and clinical case management
- Collaborate with NWCHC Compliance Officer for clinical risk needs
- Promotes and demonstrates the mission and vision of NWCHC
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, the leadership team and medical staff
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year off experience in a healthcare setting or combination of at least 2 years’ relevant education, training, or experience. Must have a current Montana RN or LPN license, and previous management/leadership experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate independent thinking, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with technology.

Care Manager
DESCRIPTION
Northwest Community Health Center is seeking a full time Care Manager to provide care coordination services for NWCHC patients.
The Care Manager will conduct patient outreach and will function as a member of the integrated primary care team. He/she will work with patients both telephonically and face-to-face with the goal of reducing care barriers and improving their individual overall health. Patients will be identified through multiple channels; and many will have co-morbidities that place them at high risk of future hospitalization and high medical care utilization. In coordination with NWCHC clinical providers and nationally recognized benchmarks the care manager will use preventative health guidelines and population health metrics to close gaps in care.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year off experience in a healthcare setting or combination of at least 2 years’ relevant education, training, or experience. Graduate from an Accredited College, University or Technical school with the degree and/or certification in Medical Assistant or Nursing; or combination of relevant education or certification preferred. Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proficiency with technology.

Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)
DESCRIPTION
Northwest Community Health Center is looking for a full time Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). The LAC will be an integral part of our behavioral health and primary care team and will facilitate outpatient therapy in both individual and group therapy formats. Additionally, the successful applicant will conduct substance use disorder assessments, develop treatment plans, document contacts and coordinate care for health center patients, and also serves as a consultant to other multidisciplinary team members.
The ability to exercise initiative, sound judgement, strict confidentiality and cooperation is essential. Minimum qualifications include an associate's degree or higher in a behavioral science field with a clinical application in addiction, chemical dependency, or drug and alcohol studies. Current Montana Addiction Counselor license required and Master’s degree in social work or counseling with LCSW or LCPC license preferred.

Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier – Part Time
DESCRIPTION
Join a dynamic team and work in the NWCHC pharmacy at Highway 2 location. Applicants must be detail oriented, enjoy working with the public, be able to work as a team with others in the pharmacy, communicate well and be able to comply with all state and federal pharmacy regulations as well as HIPAA.
The pharmacy cashier will support pharmacists and technicians by greeting and checking out customers, restocking supplies, and maintaining an organized front end OTC section. The pharmacy cashier may complete technician functions once trained in specific tasks and appropriately licensed. The position is Part Time and is eligible for part-time employee benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and 401k retirement.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Scan customers’ items through register quickly and correctly
- Process payments operating all aspects of the register, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and counting correct change back to customers
- Thank customers for their business when they leave
- Answer phone calls in a friendly manner and triage calls to pharmacy staff
- Assist with drug inventory
- Assist with stocking and cleaning
- Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed by Pharmacist.
- Help Customers locate over-the-counter stock.
- Be knowledgeable of products carried in the Department.
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
